SILENT POOL

The pool is said to be haunted the ghost of a woodcutter's daughter. She drowned in the pool, driven there by King John.

Also an apparent portal to the faerie realm.

OUR EXPERIENCE

We heard and saw nothing of any value here; though claims from others beg to differ.

If we had arrived earlier perhaps we couold have at least come away with some of the gin produced here.

It was silent.
