THE DEVIL’S BRIDGE ON SPOOKY LANE
With a name thats a bit on-the-nose, this place is known for robed monks, red glowing corpse lights and even a Roman soldier.
OUR EXPERIENCE
We came to this location - twice - as Penn forgot to record any audio the first time. (whoops).
Honestly, wern’t expecting a lot from this location. It’s a road and bridge (how scary can it be?). - Well it turns out quite scary.
The steep walls either side make for a quite oppressive nature and messes with the sound. We kept thinking we heard things behind us, or following us from high upon the wall.
By the time we got to the bridge we were all a little spooked and had all seen multiple floating red lights - something that this place is known for.
As we stood beneath the bridge, Jake pointed out that there was what looked like a tall figure stooped at the end of the lane. Penn also happened to catch what looked like the crouched figure.
The longer we all stared down this lane the more we seemed to see this tall figure get closer.
Needless to say we left a lot quicker than we arrived.
