THE REM POD
The “REM” in REM Pod stands for radiating electromagneticity.
“Electromagneticity” is made up. So we are not off to a good start.
What it does do however, is generate an electromagnetic field, that once intercepted, will trigger some kind of response. It is essentially a rebranded Theremin.
These devices are used often in Ghost Hunting shows and are extremely delicate - someones radio or mobile phone could potentially set it off from the other room - and so great care should be taken when using these as to not get any kind of false-positive.
REM Pod 1
Our first REM Pod is a very cheap, coffin-shaped one we bought off of eBay and looks a bit like someones school woodwork project. It didn’t really work very well. We only used it once or twice, namely Knowlton Church and Earthworks.
REM Pod 2
This one is much better, but is so sensitive; we definitely get some false positives sometimes. We only really take this seriously when it responds accurately to us asking to “light it up to X number of lights”.
OUR EXPERIENCE
At Broadmoor Woods, we had the REM Pod working in conjunction with the Spirit Box, saying that it was trying to light it up, then responding with the lights; even talking about trying to push the lights up to 4.
The Huxley Private Residence had timely and reasonably responsive Rem Pod responses; especailly when asked “are you in pain?” which always seemed to make the lights spike.
